No! Wagmo's Pet Wellness Plans reimburse you for the routine and preventative care you do for your pets annually. Wagmo Insurance Plans cover emergency and catastrophic care for accidents and illness. Pro-tip: you can pair your pet insurance with wellness - now or later!
Yes, Wagmo Wellness plans are available across the USA in every state! Wagmo insurance is available in all states excluding: FL, RI, AK, KY, MN.
Any licensed vet you want! Wagmo works on a reimbursement basis, so you’ll pay the vet bill out of pocket and submit a picture of your receipt for reimbursement. For Wellness plans your claim will be processed within 24hrs and for Insurance your claim will be processed in about 2 weeks.
For Wellness plans, right away! Insurance plans have a waiting period of 15 days for accident and wellness and 30 days for cancer treatment. Please note that we are only able to reimburse you for services after you have signed up. Vet bills incurred prior to joining Wagmo will not be covered.
For the base coverage, we’ll cover up to a certain number of procedures per year, subject to a maximum limit. We also offer additional allowances on our higher-tiered plans for premium coverage items like grooming, flea/tick/heartworm medication, and dental care.
For example, under our Deluxe Plan you’ll have $200 in coverage to spend on grooming over the course of a year. We will reimburse you up to that limit, and anything beyond that you’ll have to pay out of pocket. For more information on coverage maximums for each category, please refer to our universal membership agreement.
